This allows her to connect deeply with a broad spectrum of clients, from high-net-worth entrepreneurs to first-time homebuyers.

What sets us apart.

Majda Baltic is the Broker and owner of Majdas Touch Insurance, Inc. She has been an Insurance Broker for 20 years, 12 of which she was an Insurance Agent with a major captive carrier.

State Farm Insurance, along with some other insurance companies such as Geico, USAA, Allstate, & American Family are what is called "Captive Insurance Agencies". Captive Insurance Agents have exclusive lifetime contracts with only the specific company they work for, preventing them from selling any other insurance products in the marketplace.

Agents working for Captive companies are required to fulfill quotas, product pushes, and sales requirements for the Captive company. This means that when the Captive Company wants to sell more life insurance, the Agent will be pushing this product onto their clients. If the company wants more Motorcycles quoted, clients will be getting calls asking if they own a Motorcycle. If the Captive company wants to have specific products or coverages amped up in sales, clients will be getting calls accordingly.

With Insurance Brokers, it's similar. Insurance Brokers have contracts with companies that don't include exclusivity agreements, but they still push products onto them as they see fit. This means the Broker will be pushing things onto their clients as they get quotas and things pushed onto them by their Franchisors or Aggregator groups.

Then there are Independently owned insurance Brokerages, like ours. Our office is an Independent Brokerage, meaning that we do not work for anyone. We don't have specific requirements we have to push, and we don't have specific premium amounts to meet in sales. This helps us to focus on our clients' needs, only selling them the kind of insurance they need, rather than what the Carrier wants them to have.

As you can see, the Captive and Broker worlds can be highly toxic environments by nature. Captive and Broker agencies tend to have a "numbers" focus, rather than truly focusing on client needs. Majda opened up our Insurance Brokerage and contracted with every insurance company you can think of, outside of the Captive ones such as State Farm, USAA, Allstate, Geico, American Family and AAA. Our primary focus is the client and not the carrier.

We take your information and enter it into our system. We shop for the best rates with all carriers available for your circumstances. We look for the cheapest rates with the best coverage, matching the coverages you have now, so you can compare the true savings apples to apples!

Once we find the best policy, we present it to you. If you decide to go with that company, we sign you up and become your agent. We help with policy changes, payments, proof of insurance requests, and more.

If anything ever changes on the policy rates or if you don't like the insurance company's systems or service, let us know and we will shop your rate again. We will look for the best options for you and help you switch to another carrier. We can remain your insurance agent for as long as you want.
